6. What’s the difference between a debit and a credit card?
A debit card provides an alternative to cash or writing a check when making purchases, and it allows you to withdraw money from your account at any ATM machine. It is an easy and convenient way to access your account.
A credit card is not tied to a specific bank account. Credit cards offer a way to charge your purchases, up to an approved limit, on a revolving line of credit. You typically have from 25 to 30 days to pay your balance in full, before you are charged interest and late fee.

7. How can I get an ATM card?
A simple application is required to apply for an ATM card. Regulations state the ATM card must be tied to a checking account for point-of-sale purchases, but your savings account may be added to the card. This will enable you to withdraw cash from your savings account or transfer money between savings and checking accounts.
